Hi, I'm Chris Ortler — founder of Future Funds Academy and a dad of six in Colorado. I write practical books for the moments life doesn't hand you a manual for.

It started with money. Most schools don't teach it, so I began writing simple, real-world guides to help kids and teens build confidence with earning, saving, and investing — books parents and educators actually use.

Then I watched two families I love go through the death of someone close to them, and saw up close how much harder it was than it needed to be. That experience led me to write the Leaving Well Series — practical, compassionate guides for preparing your family well, and for navigating life after loss.
